Chester native and world-renowned athlete Fredia “The Cheetah” Gibbs visited the J. Lewis Crozer Library and the City of Chester in 2019 to speak to the community and to be recognized for her accomplishments.  One of those honors is a statue of her.  MLTV – Main Line Network recently released a short video with an update on the statue.  Phil Damiani, vice-president of the Sports Legends of Delaware County Museum in Wayne, talks about the impetus behind commissioning the work of art, and sculptor Jennifer Frudakis Petry provides insight into her artistic process.
