What Does Antiracism Look Like?

Widener University’s School for Social Work Education is sponsoring a three-part series, which will provide participants with practical rather than theoretical information to help them implement antiracist practices in their personal and professional lives. The virtual series begins on Thursday, October 15, with guest speaker Rev. Dr. Steven Lawrence of NewCORE discussing antiracist conversations. Yeadon Police Chief Anthony Paparo considers antiracist law enforcement on Wednesday, October 28, and Rev. Dr. Donna Jones of Emerging Ministries Corp. addresses this topic in the context of restorative justice and transformative social action on Thursday, November 12. All sessions begin at 7:00 p.m., end at 8:30 p.m., and include breakout discussions. Attend these sessions via Zoom. Click here for the link.
