Celebrate Juneteenth and Kick off Summer Reading

Saturday, June 19th, at 11:00 a.m. online

To celebrate Juneteenth and our Tails & Tales Summer Reading theme, we’ll enjoy the Mlanjeni Magical Theater’s program, Let’s Zudio, which covers the folklore and anthropology works of African American novelist and story teller Zora Neale Hurston. The program has storytelling with music, magic, puppets, (including some talking animals) and lots of audience participation. You’ll also find out about our other summer events and how you can participate in Summer Quest 2021.  This program is for kids … and for anyone who is still a kid at heart. Register in the Library’s event calendar for the Zoom link.

Job Resources Review

Wednesday, June 23rd at 4 p.m online

The world is opening back up as COVID restrictions are eased.  That includes opportunities for employment.  Are you looking for a job?  Are you looking for a new job?  Join us on Wednesday, June 23rd, at 4:00 p.m. for a virtual review of the job resources available with a Delaware County Libraries card.  Working from the career resources pages at the Crozer Library’s website, we will investigate the local and online resources available.  Together we will explore resources that will help you with your job search, support you as you write or fine-tune your resume, prepare for interviews, or acquire additional certificates or credentials.  Register in the Library’s event calendar for the Zoom link.
