misery Loves company: teen Summer Reading Book Discussion
wednesdays at 4:00 P.m. Online

You can be honest. Summer reading isn’t on the top of your “Great Things To Do in the Summer” list; however, you may find out that you actually enjoy (or at least appreciate) your reading if you have a place to share what you’ve read. Join us once or each week to talk with and listen to others who have summer reading as well. With company, things may not be as miserable as you think. Discussion facilitated by Dr. Susan Waller, head of programming at the Crozer Library and former high school and college English teacher. Register for the Zoom link in the Library’s event calendar.
A Bit of Beauty: Container Flower Garden Workshop
Thursday, July 15 at 2:00 P.M.

Join us for another container garden workshop at the Ruth Bennett Community Farm. This time we’re planting flowers. All supplies will be provided for this event during which participants will plant a container garden filled with an assortment of flowers. Children are welcome and will receive a pair of garden gloves and their own small container. The Library will have free children’s books available. The workshop will be held near the basketball courts during the Farm’s free produce box distribution. While supplies are free, registration is required. Register for the program by clicking here.
