August Programs

It’s still summer here at the Library. Why not join us for a story time or craft? We know school is right around the corner, but there are a few more weeks to finish up your summer reading. Stop by the Library and see what we have waiting for you.

Tails and Tales Summer Story Time

August 5th and 12th at 11:00 A.M.

Just a few weeks left to join us outdoors for Summer Story Time.  Wear a mask and bring a mat or towel.  We’ll read stories, play games, sing a few songs, and do an activity.  For kids Kindergarten through Grade 5. Registration not required, but recommended.  Register in the Library’s event calendar.

WEDNESDAYS AT 4:00 P.M. ONLINE Till August 25th

Summer reading probably isn’t on the top of your “Great Things To Do in the Summer” list; however, you may find out that you actually enjoy (or at least appreciate) your reading if you have a place to share what you’ve read.  There’s only one month left before school begins, so join us once or each week to talk with and listen to others who have summer reading as well.  With company, things may not be as miserable as you think.  Discussion facilitated by Dr. Susan Waller, head of programming at the Crozer Library and former high school and college English teacher. Register for the Zoom link in the Library’s event calendar.

Summer Reading Wrap-up

Saturday, August 14th, from 11:00 – 12:00

Stop by the Library for a free book or two.  Join us outside to make a summer craft and/or some slime!  Tell us what you’ve read this summer.  Check out your summer reading books if you need to. Hope to see you at the Library.

Take and Make Craft

August 24th – 28th

Stop by the Library and pick up supplies for a cheerful sunflower craft.  Use the materials to make a decoration or a card to lift the spirits.  No registration.  Available while supplies last.  Adapted from EasyPeasy and Fun.
