1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

All month

One of the most important ways you can show love to the preschool-age children in your life is to read to them.  Maryann Wolf, author of Reader, Come Home: The Reading Brain in a Digital World, notes that laps are far more important than laptops (or any device) especially in the formative years (ages 0-5) of a child’s life.  Join our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program and help grow a new reader.  For more information, stop by the Library or click here for the program’s page at our website.
