Painting Party with Joann: A Remembrance Candle
Thursday, December 9th, at 1:00 p.m.

Join us for an online painting party with Joann Simone, artist-in-residence and assistant library director. Register for the program through our event calendar; then stop by the Library to pick up a canvas and all of the supplies you’ll need. Join us via Zoom on December 9th at 1:00 p.m. for the painting party. You’ll create this beautiful candle to help you remember special events or people during the holiday season. Take and Make Craft: A String of Stars
December 14th – 18th

Stop by the Library between Tuesday, December 14th and Saturday, December 18th to pick up this month’s Take and Make Craft: A String of Stars. Made with a few folds, cuts, and some glue, these stars can brighten your holiday decorations. You’ll receive silver and white paper for winter stars, red and green paper for Christmas stars, and red, black, and green paper for Kwanzaa stars. Follow the directions included or watch a short video posted at our YouTube channel starting December 14th. No registration necessary. Available while supplies last.
Individualized Medicare Counseling Sessions
Wednesday, December 15th, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m

Even though Open Enrollment will be closed, you can still get help with cost sharing and other Medicare issues. Sign up for an individualized Medicare counseling session. A knowledgeable volunteer with the PA MEDI Medicare Program will answer your question via the telephone. Sign up in the Library’s event calendar or call the Library to schedule a session.
Medicare Cost Sharing
Thursday, December 16th, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Join this virtual presentation to learn about ways you can receive help paying for your Medicare health care coverage. Register with the link at our event calendar. Call the Library at 610-494-3454 with any questions. SCS PA MEDI Medicare Program is funded in part through the Administration for Community Living under contract with Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging.
