Saturdays in February from 9 – noon

This year, free tax preparation will be available at the J. Lewis Crozer Library.  Provided by Community Action Agency of Delaware County, appointments will be available on Saturdays in February.  Call 610-833-4443 to schedule an appointment. Please note that the Library staff CANNOT schedule appointments. You must call 610-833-4443.

Teen Art Contest

Mock Ezra Jack Keats Award

Medicare 101

New to Medicare?  Want to be sure you have sufficient coverage?  Have questions about prescription plans?  Sign up for an individualized Medicare counseling session.  A knowledgeable volunteer with the PA MEDI Medicare Program will answer your question via the telephone.  Sign up in the Library’s event calendar or call the Library to schedule a session.

Painting Party with Joann Simone: Happy Hearts

THursday, February 10, at 1:00 P.M. online

Join us for another of Joann’s painting parties. This month, we are creating “Happy Hearts,” a cheerful piece of art guaranteed to lift your spirits for Valentine’s Day and year round. Register in the Library’s event calendar. Then stop by the Library between Tuesday, February 8th and Thursday, the 10th, to pick up all of your supplies. TAKE AND MAKE CRAFT:  PEACE WREATH

February 15 – 19

Celebrate Black History Month with this simple, yet profound, design.  Trace your hands or use the hands of friends and family members to create a multi-cultural and intergenerational celebration of our connectedness.  All of the materials needed to make the wreath will be in the craft bag.  No registration required.  Available while supplies last. This craft was adapted from Color Me Kinder.

Virtual Tour – National Marian Anderson Museum

Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

Join us online for a virtual tour of the National Marian Anderson Museum in Philadelphia.  Currently closed due to COVID and building renovations, the Museum is connecting with visitors online.  We will tour the three-story house Ms. Anderson purchased in 1934 at 762 South Martin Street (Marian Anderson Way) and explore the life and legacy of this American icon.  Space is limited, so register in the Library event calendar to reserve your spot.
