DESCRIPTION:The Community Action Agency of Delaware County is accepting appointments for FREE tax preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. \nTo schedule an appointment with an IRS-certified tax preparer or ask questions\, please call 610-833-4443. \nWhat to bring: \n\nPhoto ID (driver’s license\, state ID\, or other government-issued ID)\nSocial Security cards for you\, your spouse\, and dependents\, or ITIN assignment letter (if applicable)\nProof of foreign status (if applying for an ITIN)\nBirth dates for you\, your spouse\, and dependents listed on the return\nWage and income statements (W-2\, W-2G\, 1099-R\, 1099-MISC\, etc.)\nSocial Security Benefit Statement (SSA-1099)\, if applicable\nInterest and dividend statements (1099 forms)\, if applicable\nHealth coverage statements (Forms 1095-A\, 1095-B\, 1095-C)\, if applicable\nHealth Insurance Exemption Certificate\, if received\nA copy of last year’s federal and state tax returns\, if available\nBank routing and account numbers for direct deposit (blank check or bank document)\nDaycare provider payments and the provider’s tax ID number\, if applicable\nIRS and state income transcripts\, if applicable\n\nImportant: For married filing jointly\, both spouses must be present to sign required forms.
