Join Tanina Harris, a licensed cosmetologist and licensed cosmetology teacher from Empire Beauty School, for a hands-on braiding workshop focused on natural hair care and beauty. Tanina brings a deep passion for helping families learn simple, everyday styles that are both cost-effective and confidence-boosting.
This class will cover basic braiding techniques, including plaits, twists, cornrows, and parting. It is a great opportunity to gain practical skills that can make daily hair care easier and more affordable.
**Participants are encouraged to bring their own tools and accessories,** such as parting combs, wide-tooth combs, hair clips, rubber bands, ballies, barrettes, and spray bottles. A limited number of supply kits will be available on-site for those who may not have items to bring.
**We also encourage participants to bring their child or another person whose hair is already washed and blow dried,** as you will be practicing braiding on someone else during the workshop.
