Teacher and Educator Library Cards
A Teacher Library Card allows you to check out materials specifically for your classroom or homeschool curriculum. Materials are gathered and packaged within two weeks for pick-up at the library, and they can be returned to any member library location. To apply, simply visit the library to request a Teacher Library Card application.
SORA
Expand student access with Sora! Students can explore age-appropriate eBooks and audiobooks from Delaware County Libraries’ digital collection, alongside your school’s digital collection. Class Visits
Class visits—whether your class comes to us or a librarian visits your classroom—are a great way to introduce students to library resources. To schedule a visit, call us at 610-494-3454 or email crozerlibrary@delcolibraries.org.
Library Cards for Students
We are committed to helping teachers obtain permanent library cards for students who do not already have one. To ensure library cards are ready by the day of your visit, please follow these steps:
- Visit or call the library to request Library Card Registration forms for the students who need them.
- Distribute a form to each student to take home for completion. Note: Each form must include the student’s full name, address, and parent or guardian information, along with a signature from a parent or guardian for students under 18.
- Return the completed forms to the library at least two (2) weeks before the visit.
- During the class visit, the teacher will receive the cards and is responsible for distributing them to students or their parents/guardians. Please inform parents or guardians that the cards will have temporary access until a valid ID is presented at the library, at which point the card will be updated to permanent juvenile status.
