Learn how archaeologists carefully uncover, map, and document artifacts using a chocolate chip cookie as your excavation site. Participants will trace their cookie, record where each “artifact” is found, and use a toothpick and brush to excavate the chocolate chips without disturbing the site.
This hands-on activity blends archaeology, observation, and STEM learning with a little something sweet.
Ideal for ages 5 to 12. Free, no registration required.
Please let staff know about any food allergies before participating.
