Digital Library Toolkit: Playgarden Prep

Join us for a hands-on session exploring Playgarden Prep, an early learning platform designed for families and caregivers of children ages 2–5 (ELCs/CDCs welcome). Playgarden Prep features on-demand video lessons and songs from certified teachers across early literacy and language, math, science, music, art, movement, and nutrition. Families can also use printable activities and guided worksheets to build early learning foundations, along with hands-on projects and storytime-style book readings. Content is available in English and Spanish to support dual language learning.

We will show you how to access Playgarden Prep with your library card, navigate the platform, and find resources you can use at your child’s pace at home or in an early learning setting. Bring your phone, tablet, or laptop, or use a library computer.

No library card, or need a renewal? We’ve got you. We can register you or renew your card during the session. Just bring an ID that shows your current address.

About the series: Digital Library Toolkit highlights the electronic resources and digital tools you can use for free with your library card, including ebooks and audiobooks, streaming video, job and homework support, life skill building, language learning, and more. Each session includes a live demo, time for questions, and help getting started.
